The FileMaker Pro (FMP) monitor works by connecting to a FileMaker service and checking to see that it is responding. There are no settings necessary for this monitor.
Note: This monitor will also work with FileMaker Server; but the FileMaker Server (FMS) monitor provides a more comprehensive test. If you are using FileMaker Server, you may wish to use that test instead of, or in addition to, the FileMaker Pro (FMP) monitor.
The FileMaker Pro (FMP) monitor initiates a connection to the service and waits for the connection to be estanlished.
If the connection is established, the test is successful.
If the monitor receives a connection error, the test will fail with a "connection failed" error.
Otherwise, the monitor will continue to wait. If the connection is never established, the test will fail with a timeout error.
