The "Schedule" panel When you click on the "Schedule" tab, a panel appears with controls for configuring automatic events that run at regular intervals.
You can set up any number of events which run on a variety of schedules, from minutes to weeks. Each event can switch a different set of outlets, or start up/shut down the computer. This allows you to automate unattended tasks without leaving the computer running full time. Event list The main part of the "Schedule" panel is a list showing all of the events you have defined. You can enable and disable scheduled events by checking and unchecking the "On" box next to each event. You can customize the appearance of this list in several ways:
Editing buttons The buttons at the bottom of the list let you manage your events:
Tip: You can also hold down the "control" key and select an event (or right-click using a two-button mouse). This opens a "contextual menu" that shows the same commands as the editing buttons. Related topics | ||||||||||||||||
