When an application fails

The first section of the "Application Crashes" panel contains a pair of radio buttons that lets you choose how Kick-off! will respond when an application crashes.

Select the Take no action (log failure) button to make Kick-off! not respond when an application crashes. The crash will be added to Kick-off!'s log file.

Select the Restart the system immediately button to make Kick-off! restart the computer when an application crashes.

Note

• Kick-off! will first attempt to initiate a system restart. If the system restart fails, the Kick-off! hardware will then perform a hard restart, after a delay specified by the "Restart if system doesn't respond" slider in the "System Crashes" tab.
